Project Overview
The platform provides a single source of truth for contracts, hospitality details, stage plots, and promotional materials. Before their launch, AmptUp needed robust QA support to validate core user flows for both venues and artists. I was contracted to provide a mix of manual and automated QA engineering, ensuring the platform was stable, user-friendly, and launch-ready. Over a six-month contract, I helped AmptUp stabilize their platform and prepare for launch, giving venues and artists confidence in using the system to book, confirm, and manage gigs. The automation framework continues to support their developers, reducing risk and speeding up the release of new features.
Key Features
✓Conducted manual QA on venue and artist workflows, including event creation, bookings, confirmations, and asset submissions
✓Built a Playwright test automation suite covering critical booking and scheduling flows (calendars, forms, communications)
✓Integrated automated tests into GitHub Actions to gate pull requests and prevent regressions
✓Implemented Slack notifications for test failures and AWS S3 storage for test report archiving
✓Delivered documentation and onboarding so the internal team could continue expanding test coverage after my engagement
